Membership Plans

On the Membership Plans homepage, users can view and edit existing plans. All plan details are clearly displayed, including the Plan Name, Status, Description, Plan/Fee, and the number of members.

If a user has created a plan, they can click the 'Actions' option associated with the respective plan to edit any desired settings or details.

To add a new plan, users can click the 'Add New Plan' button located at the top-right corner of the Membership Plans homepage.

This action redirects the user to a form where they need to provide all the pricing details for the new plan. For user convenience, the plan information is divided into four sections:

  • Basic Info
  • Plan Highlights
  • Pricing
  • Advanced Pricing Configuration

To edit an existing plan, the user will access the same form, where they can update or make necessary corrections to the plan.

How are members notified of their plan's renewal?

Members are notified about their plan's renewal via an email from Stripe. They receive an email on their registered email address about their current plan's renewal 3-days prior to the payment/renewal's date.

Can the member cancel their membership prior to their Credit Card being processed?

At the moment, only managers can cancel member's membership before end of membership plan. However, following the new Federal Trade Commission's 'Click-to-Cancel' rule, we are working to make it easier for the members to cancel their recurring membership subscriptions prior to their Credit Card's processing. Stay tuned!

Does member's annual membership gets processed automatically including Credit Card payment processing?

Yes. If member has an active membership, they'll be charged with the renewal amount at the day of renewal through selected payment method - Stripe/Credit Card.

Does Stripe send any notifications to the member about payment's processing?

Yes. If member is using Stripe as their preferred payment method, they can enable the Customer Emails option - which sends an email to the member 7 days before their trial ends.

How does a club member pay for their membership if their Credit Card is unable to process transaction request due to expiry or other technical issues?

As a club owner/admin, you can customize Stripe Settings that alerts your members about their Expiring Card Details, 1 month prior to the expiry date. You can manage these Settings in Stripe's Billing > Subscription and Emails section. Members can then change their expired Credit Card or their payment method to continue using club's membership benefits.

Can a member's expired Credit card still be charged on Stripe?

It depends on the member's Credit card issuing bank. But in some cases, an expired card can continue to be charged after its expiration date has passed. For more details, visit this link.

Club members can update their expired payment method by going into Membership Plans section.
